Mental Health Commission of Canada and Government of British Columbia Among First Sponsors Announced for CCSA’s Issues of Substance Conference
June 13, 2023
CCSA is pleased to announce the first group of organizations who have shown their support for CCSA’s Issues of Substance 2023 conference in November.
For the third consecutive conference, the Mental Health Commission of Canada returns as a national sponsor for our event. The Government of British Columbia’s Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions has joined this year as our provincial sponsor for the conference.
Each organization will have part of the conference program focus on key issues related to their mandate. One morning will feature the connection between mental health and substance use. Another will focus on the knowledge sharing, emerging responses and transformational activities that British Columbia is leading in program, practice and policy at the community, regional and provincial levels. More details about these exciting initiatives will be available when the full conference program is released this summer.
Here is the current list of conference sponsors and their categories:
- BC Women’s Hospital + Health Centre
- CanFASD (Canada Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) Research Network
CCSA thanks these organizations for their support. As sponsors, they are helping reduce the impact of substance use and demonstrating their organization’s commitment to sustainable and positive change. They are supporting the health and safety of people in Canada.
